An ingrowing toenail is a painful toe condition in which the edge of the nail cuts into the flesh, in other words, the nail curls in and digs into the soft tissues of the toe.
This occurs most frequently in the big toe and may affect one or both sides of the nail. In the early stage, it may cause a little discomfort but as the nail grows deeper into the flesh, the toe becomes infected and very painful. And the toe becomes red, shiny and swollen with a throbbing pain and pus discharge will ensue. In this case, Tonagel would be very helpful for getting the nail back to normal position at about 1 or 2 months of application in both mild or severe cases.

Important : If you have concurrent onychomycosis (nail fungus) with a ingrowing toe nail, then, you must treat onychomycosis together with ingrowing toenail. If not, both conditions will not improve.
